In Hong Kong, about 30000 children live in sub-divided flats with cramped space currently. The AdapTable is designed with such underprivileged children in mind. Squashed in a room no larger than 100 square feet, they may have to resort to lying on beds or floors to study or learn, resulting in physical and/or psychological problems. For example, nearly 80% of them have various levels of spine conditions.
The AdapTable allows children to work on their beds or any surface comfortably without affecting their spines, while also saving space. Moreover, it comes with a large variety of accessories so as to motivate children to learn.
HOW CAN WE HELP
AdapTable will be partnering with multiple NGOs that serves underprivileged children. We will be supplying the NGOs with AdapTables which will in turn be distributed to children in need of a proper working space.
